We are looking to hire our next Network Administrator.
 
This position requires a heavy focus on customer service skills, attention to detail and a positive, “can do” attitude. Local travel is also required (expenses are reimbursed). Being able to communicate effectively both written and verbal is critical as this position requires significant client interaction at all levels.

You MUST love documenting networks, policies, procedures, etc. 
You MUST love creating standards, running checklists, etc.

 
Job Description:
  • Responsible for the reliable operation of all aspects of our clients Local Area Networks
  • Local travel to client’s offices to review their networks (firewall, routers, servers, etc.) using checklists to document status of critical network functions
  • Create, review and update network documentation
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients
  • Create, review and update network diagrams
  • Troubleshoot Internet, WAN, LAN, Network, Server (File, Exchange, SQL) and Desktop issues in a Microsoft environment both onsite and remotely
 
Requirements:
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE - You love working with and talking to people, correct?
  • MCSE, MCSA, equivalent experience or significant course work REQUIRED
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Communicate effectively with diverse clients ranging from employees to executives and top management
  • Thorough knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies and security
  • 3+ years Windows server experience
  • 3+ years Microsoft Exchange (premise or cloud) experience
  • Router and firewall configuration
  • VPN technologies
  • Corporate Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam
  • Broad knowledge of IT best practices
  • Corporate backup solutions
  • Wireless network implementation and security
  • Smart Phone integration (Blackberry, iPhone, Droid, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs independently
  • Reliable transportation
 
Pluses:
  • VOIP, data and voice communications
  • PSA and RMM Software Experience (AutoTask, ConnectWise, Kaseya, LabTech, etc.)
Salary $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
